Touchwood - One of the UK's most exciting shopping and entertainment destinations. Opened in September 2001, Touchwood was designed to be a very different, more sophisticated retail experience set within an environment that is both relaxed and easily accessible. Touchwood played host to 17.2 million visitors in 2005 and it's easy to see why this number is growing all the time.

Seamlessly ‘woven' into Solihull Town Centre, Touchwood's three arcades; Poplar, Crescent and Mill Lane all boast their own highly individual personalities. Taking their influences from traditional, ‘arcade' style shopping, you'll find a vast range of stores offering everything from fashion to homewares, healthcare to toys and books.

Then, when it's time to eat and drink, choose from over 20 restaurants and bars catering for every palate from Japanese to Spanish, Mexican to Italian or simply sip on a cool drink after work or with friends.

Tudor Grange Leisure Centre- The Main Pool is 25 metre’s and 8 lanes wide. It also has a 1 metre spring board, and a 2.6 metre diving platform. The diving pool is also fitted with a moveable floor which can go from deck level to 3.5 metres in depth. The teaching pool is used for a wide range of swimming courses both for adults and children. From parent and baby classes, parent and toddlers, to a wide variety of children's swimming instruction courses. Diving and Aqua fit are also available in this large, well laid out pool. There is also a large seated viewing area with access around the pool.

Shirley Retail Park - Situated just off the Stratford Road in Shirley, Solihull, West Midlands. It's huge and has lots of shops and a massive car park. The shops include: B&Q, Comet (a superstore - it's huge), MFI, Furnitureland, Harvey's, SFC, Tempo, Mothercare, Toys R Us, JB Sports, Halfords, Allied Carpets and Homebase to name a few. If you are a DIY fan then this is the place for you as there are plenty of stores to choose from (flat pack furniture galore, too!). All sorts of shops in the same place makes life a little easier.
